The Seller inherited the building from her parents who hadn’t been managing it for quite some time. She lived out of state and the building was in rough shape. The distance made it difficult for her to manage, not to mention they had a difficult tenant in place paying well under market rent and he didn’t want to leave. We were able to find a buyer and work through the hurdles of the differed maintenance and problematic tenant. We got the building closed and the seller was happy to be able to move on and have this difficult situation off their plate.
